Digitally Saving on a Grand Scale

Saving the physical world around us.

With personal stories we can record a voice or maybe some video. We can scan the photos or create images of the more tangible things in life but how do you remember something that is big. Like a house or a pyramid or Mount Rushmore?

Here is another great TED talk. This time it’s about digitizing the BIG things around us.

We all know that we would rather not have to record someone’s story because they’re remain forever but that’s not the case. The same applies for the big things in our world. If we can’t have the real thing then the next best will be a digital representation of it. It’s not the same but it’s better than loosing it all together.
